General Terms and Conditions for Accommodation and Reservations

Dear guests, we kindly ask you to carefully read the general terms and conditions for accommodation at La Mer Residence & Spa

These terms and conditions, which are subject to change, apply directly or indirectly to all our services. You can access them online via any mobile device, by email, or by phone. By accessing, viewing, and using our website, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted the terms and conditions set forth below (including the privacy statement).

La Mer Residences & Spa, through “Frontline Management Ltd.” acts as a data controller within the meaning of the Personal Data Protection Act and processes the customer’s personal data to fulfill its obligations in connection with the reservation made by the customer.

The Privacy Policy of La Mer Residence & Spa governs the type of information collected from customers, the manner of its collection, and the purposes for which it is used.

The personal data provided is fully protected and is used for marketing analysis and to better understand the needs of customers and, accordingly, to improve the quality of the services offered.

Without the personal data of customers, the online reservation system could not be used to make reservations.

La Mer Residence & Spa does not disclose the name and email address provided by the user when making a reservation to third parties for the purpose of sending commercial information.

Hotel accommodation prices are subject to change at any time and may be influenced by hotel occupancy and demand during different periods of the year.

All hotel accommodation prices on the booking platform include VAT.

The price for your stay is guaranteed upon completion of the booking process and receipt of a confirmation with a reservation number and prepayment.

La Mer Residences & Spa reserves the right to cancel a confirmed and paid reservation in the event of established abuse.

The final price you have selected is per day and for the specific room, including tourist tax and VAT. If, during your stay, you use additional services not listed in the description of the selected room type and offer, these must be paid on-site at the hotel.

Promotional rates for hotel accommodation cannot be combined with other current offers or discounts. Prices do not include commissions for tour operators or other parties.

Your reservation is considered confirmed after payment of the required deposit specified in the reservation form or the relevant offer.

The reservation can be guaranteed with a credit card or prepaid via bank transfer. Bank account details in BGN are listed in the reservation confirmation.

Free cancellation of the reservation is possible up to 3 days prior to the check-in date or in accordance with the cancellation terms in the respective offer/package. After this period expires, the first night’s stay will be charged as a penalty. In case of a no-show for a reservation, the full amount is required.

Check-in/Check-out: Check-in time at La Mer Residences & Spa is after 2:00 PM. Any arrival before this time will be subject to hotel occupancy. Check-out time is 12:00 PM. Any check-out after the standard check-out time is subject to hotel occupancy.

Late check-out after 12:00 PM must be requested in advance in writing or at the hotel reception. It is subject to confirmation by the hotel. An additional charge applies, with the specific room being billed at 50% of the nightly rate after 12:00 PM. For additional information, please contact the hotel reception directly.

Payment Policy: Payments for accommodation and additional services can be made in cash, in Bulgarian leva, via bank transfer, or by Visa or MasterCard. Traveler’s checks are not accepted. You may be asked to guarantee your reservation with a debit/credit card and a 3-digit security code. Payments made with Diners, American Express, or JCB are not accepted. A full, non-refundable, non-transferable payment may be required for promotional, seasonal, and advance rates at the time of booking. If no prepayment is required, payment is due upon checkout.

Liability: The guest’s liability for their bill is irrevocable, and they agree to be held liable in the event that a specific individual, group, or company fails to pay all or part of the incurred expenses in full.

Damage to Hotel Property: The hotel reserves the right to charge guests for damage caused accidentally, intentionally, or through negligence by the guest to hotel equipment and facilities. The amount of the deposit depends on the damage incurred and is payable immediately, in cash, at the front desk.

However, we will attempt to repair the damage at our own expense, ensuring that the guest’s costs are kept to a minimum. All costs for additional services not included in the package are the responsibility of the guests.

The costs of replacing or repairing any loss or damage to the property of La Mer Residences & Spa, its furnishings, as well as the outdoor area, caused during the stay, are the responsibility of the guests. Guests are obligated to treat the property of La Mer Residence & Spa with the care of a good tenant. The manager or their representative may require guests to vacate the hotel immediately in the event of excessive or unacceptable loss or damage at any time during the rental period, without the right to compensation or a refund of the amount paid. Any damage or loss incurred during the rental period shall be paid by the guests at market price.

Removal of Hotel Property: The hotel reserves the right to demand payment for any item that has been removed from the hotel premises without our knowledge. The charge will be for the amount required to replace the missing item, including all delivery costs. If such damage is discovered after the guest’s departure, we reserve the right to charge the credit/debit card provided by the guest or to send an invoice to the address provided by the guest.

No Smoking Policy: Guests who disregard or violate our no-smoking policy in the apartments will be fined without exception. A fine of 100 leva will be charged to the guest’s account and deducted from the credit/debit card provided. Any subsequent damage to the room caused by smoking will be considered damage to hotel property.

Inappropriate Behavior: It is the hotel’s policy that every guest has the right to be treated with dignity and respect, and as responsible hosts, we believe it is our duty to protect our guests from inappropriate behavior. If the shift manager deems a guest’s actions to be inappropriate, the hotel reserves the right to take appropriate action against the guest. Depending on the severity of the guest’s actions, at the hotel’s discretion, the police may be called, and guests may be asked to leave the hotel.

Lost/Damaged Items: If a lost or forgotten item is found, the hotel will make every effort to locate the owner and return it. However, if we are unable to contact the owner and the item is not claimed within 2 months of the guest’s departure from the hotel, it will be disposed of.

Parking: The hotel’s parking lot is available and free of charge for all guests. However, all vehicles are left at the guest’s own risk, and the hotel assumes no liability for loss or damage. In the event of a problem with a vehicle in the hotel parking lot, the hotel cannot assume any liability. If a vehicle is left in the hotel parking lot without the hotel’s consent, the hotel reserves the right to have the vehicle removed at the owners’ expense.

Additional Terms: Although we make every effort to fulfill your requests, unfortunately, we cannot guarantee this 100%, and failure to do so shall not constitute a breach of contract.

Cancellation/Reservation Changes: Any changes to the number of guests occupying a room, other than those made at the time of the initial reservation, must be reported to and confirmed by the front desk prior to the arrival date. If you wish to cancel or change your reservation, you may do so without penalty up to 3 days prior to arrival by contacting our Manager in writing. For cancellations made less than 3 days in advance, a fee equal to the cost of the first night’s stay will be charged. In the event of a no-show, the full amount of the booked package will be charged. The hotel reserves the right to charge the amount due for such a cancellation to the guest’s credit/debit card without prior notice or approval. Reservations made under promotional, seasonal, or prepaid rates may be non-cancellable, with no refund of the initial payment and no option for a transfer. In the unlikely event that we must cancel, change, or void your reservation, we reserve the right to do so up until the time of check-in/arrival. Should this occur, you may:

1) accept the revised arrangements as made, 2) propose alternative arrangements with us, or 3) cancel your reservation and receive a full refund of all amounts paid.

Housekeeping Services: The hotel offers housekeeping services daily between 8:30 AM and 4:30 PM.

Pets: Pets are not permitted on the premises of La Mer Residence & Spa.

Maximum occupancy: Occupancy rules are strictly enforced. They are based on the conditions of our apartments. Overcrowding creates a safety hazard for everyone. If more guests are accommodated in the rooms, the hotel reserves the right to require the booking of an additional room at an extra charge.

Payment for the reservation:

After making your reservation, you are expected to pay a deposit of at least 50% of the total cost of your reservation.

Upon receipt of the payment, the reservation is considered final and guaranteed by the hotel.
